What is special about Lighthouse Beach Dental?

When you walk into Lighthouse Beach Dental, we want you to feel the atmosphere of "relaxed quality" that the whole Lighthouse Beach area exudes. The decor reflects a tropical atmosphere with fish and beach houses as the general theme.

You will always be welcomed by a smiling face and made to feel welcome. Most of our regular patients become very good friends. Something that you may find comforting here is that we only have 1 dentist and we try very hard to run on time. For that reason, you may find that frequently you are the only person sitting in our waiting room.

We take great pride in the fact that many people like to arrive early for their appointment because they like to spend extra time enjoying the facilities in our waiting area.

For the tiny tots we have our kindy play area with chalk board.

Both children and young at heart really seem to like playing on the Wii machine. 

Our female visitors are usually very impressed by the up to date magazines which we buy every Monday. Whilst men will have the latest "inside sport" and golf magazines.

The more mature will  enjoy radio 2CH which we stream into our waiting room via the internet live from Sydney.

We have an impressive array of quality coffee table books which are mostly related to travel.

We are extremely proud of our sterilizing room. It is the centrepiece of our rooms with large viewing windows so that you can see how exacting our sterilizing process is.

Our dental operating chairs are the "Mercedes benz" of dentistry by the german maufaturer Siemens.

From these chairs we have a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. During whale season, we see whales all day, everyday from our windows.

When you lay back in the chair you will see aerial photos of Port Macquarie on the ceiling and some Far Side cartoons. They are just little things designed to keep your mind occupied for a little while at least.

We stream radio from the internet : Perth, Melbourne, London, Dubai, classical Vienna, New Orleans Jazz are just some of the venues we listen to. Make a request. I am sure we will find something for you.

Our digital x-ray system which was introduced in 2009 is just brilliant. When we take an x-ray , we can immediately view it on the computer screen. I can also magnify the image so that it is larger than life. We also have an intraoral camera which will also display photos of your mouth on the computer screen.

With this technology patients can see very clearly any issues that are in their mouths and I am also able to explain very thoroughly any treatments that are needed.
